Our ChewGuards consist of snap-on PVC pieces that are Chew Resistant and almost impossible for a dog to chew through. This is a perfect solution for kennels, shelters, veterinarians, animal sanctuaries, breeders and TEETHING PUPPIES.

As you can see, there is a very small open space at each corner of the bed. It is extremely difficult for a dog to get their jaws into this space to chew our beds. We designed this space into our beds so you can tie a pad, blanket or cover to the bed at the corners.

Q. Which bed is best for my dog?

This all depends on your pet and their sleeping habits. Q. How do I care for your Dog Beds?

For the Cordura Fabric beds, you can machine wash on low and air dry. However, our beds are tightly put together and you might not want to take the bed apart to wash the top. The easiest way to wash it is to put the entire cot in the shower or if you are outside, wash with soap and water. Just scrub it down with soap and water and rinse thoroughly. You can use a very small amount of bleach if you like. May also be dry cleaned, however no TRICHLOROETHYLENE. It is very important to let your bed dry completely. If you let your pet onto the bed before it is completely dry like any fabric it will stretch. Do not worry if you do because all you need do to remedy the stretching problem is get it wet again a let it dry out completely.

Cleaning instructions for the designer beds vary. The cushions on most of the designer beds can be machine-washed. Whether the product is manufactures by Dog-Beds-USA or another manufacturer, we strive to offer products that will be easy to care for.

Q. Can pets or dogs dig through our beds?

A determined dog with enough time on his paws can most likely dig through almost anything. A digger or scratcher can eventually work their way through the Cordura and mesh "The Best Dog Bed in the World" bed.  Use caution as both beds are vulnerable to tearing by persistently scratching or digging dogs. We sometimes see a bed destroyed by a digger.  A dog digging their bed is what the experts say is "hard wired" into their head.  They are trying to make their beds and tear through the cordura or the mesh, and then they chew it because the ragged edges are exposed.  There is nothing that can be done about a digger because it is instinct to them.  The best advise we can give you if you have a digger is to let them sleep on a hard surfact. 

Q. What if my pet or dog is reluctant to use their bed or cot, what can I do to get them to use it?

We have had this question come up only a few times in all the years we have been selling Pet beds. However, if this happens there are some things you can do to help them feel comfortable with their new bed. Make it comfortable and fun to jump into. Put their favorite blanket or pad on it and then add some treats. Sit by their new bed and talk gently to your pet. Pat the bed and invite him on. When they jump on, pet them to reassure them that this is a safe and comfortable place to rest. However, most pets instinctively know the bed belongs to them and they are anxious to claim the bed immediately by jumping on and staking it out as theirs.

Q. Do you have a return policy?

We have a 30-day return policy from date of purchase. If merchandise is not damaged (no scratches or scuffs on the frame) you may return pet bed to us. We cannot use the returned bed and donate all returned beds. You pay postage back and we will refund your original purchase price provided it is in new condition. However, there is a $10.00 fabric charge for sizes X-Small and Small, and $15.00 for the other sizes. as we cannot reuse a fabric no matter how little it was used.

Q. Are your pet beds guaranteed?

We love this question. We are proud to tell you that our company was originally designed by a mechanical engineer and a designer. We looked for the perfect fabric choice that would match our business philosophy which is to sell you the BEST and most DURABLE pet bed available. Part of our Business Philosophy is that we do not believe in Built-In-Obsolescence. There are more than enough pets who would benefit from our beds without creating a product that would make you need to buy a new bed shortly after you buy one of ours. We want you to recommend us, which creates more business.

Unless you add to your pet family your bed should easily last the lifetime of your pet. If  We offer you a 2 years workmanship warranty for the bed top.  As such we will repair or replace our bed tops at no charge if the sewing comes loose because of faulty construction.  We will not replace or repair a bed that is damaged because your dog chews or digs through the material.  Obviously if a dog chews or digs through the material the sewing will be damaged.  In this case the cause of the damaged top is because your pet damaged it and it is not because of poor construction.  If you request that we replace your top we will ask you to email a picture of the bed.  We can determine if your bed has been chewed or dug up just by looking at the pictures.  If your bed has a workmanship or manufacturing problem we will ask you to send it back to us and we will either repair the top or give you a replacement.

Q. Is it hard to put the dog beds together?

We include pictorial and written instructions with every dog bed we send out. However, it is very important that you follow the instructions carefully, because there is a trick to putting the beds together. Of course, if you are someone like Arnold Schwarzenegger you might not need the instructions. However, if you are not quite as strong as Arnie you should not have any trouble putting the bed together if you follow the instructions.
